Assassin's Creed: Rogue Remastered help with the forts?

I don't understand why they're all conquered before I start playing. I tried three times. They were all conquered at the start of the playthrough, resulting in me being unable to get the achievement for conquering them. I already tried uninstall, power cycle,
reinstall but that didn't work.

Yeah, the forts went red on the map (they started out blue) after I reached a certain point in the story and I could no longer enter them. Had they been red on the map and/or attacked me if I got close to them to begin with, I would've been a LOT less confused.

This is an in-game specific issue and I suggest you to contact the game's devs support or post in their forums.

Have you checked the achievment list / achievment guides from xboxachievments? They are helpful. If someone had the same issues you Maybe find a solution there. Also check the Ubisoft Forum for the game.
