Assassin's Creed Odyssey Pre Order Steel Book

So I Pre order the Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold Edition from the Xbox store tonight and notice it says that we get a steel book with the pre order in the game description. How does this work? is it just a typo or does ubisoft ship us a steel book for
a digital game?

Assassin's Creed Odyssey or Fallout 76 for me. Fall & beyond would definitely be Cyberpunk 2077.

 

Cancel game pre-order

I would like to cancel my pre-order of Assassin's Creed Syndacate for wrong purchase: I wanted instead to buy Assassin's Creed Syndacate Gold Edition.

There is a procedure to do that?

Weird. I never noticed that before, but can't find any information about it. I would have to think it's a typo.

Edit: After checking Ubisoft's website, they do not list the steelbook with the digital gold edition. So it does appear to be a typo.

 

I think it must be a typo, but it would be a wonderful surprise if it wasn’t.

I nearly ordered the Gold physical directly from Ubisoft to get the steelbook, but I decided to go Ultimate digital from Microsoft in the end.
