Assassin's Creed Odissey error 0x87e0000f

Hi everyone,

It has been 2 months i cannot play to this game due to an error everytime i try to download the game : 0x87e0000f.

I've called many time the xbox support but nothing happened despite countless manipulations.

I've tried twice to request for a refund but they keep refusing it without giving any explanation.

Anyone would have any suggestion on what to do ? Or at least would know when the issue is supposed to be fixed ?

Thank you for confirming this. I understand your concern and confusion for when it comes to this.

When it comes to network troubleshooting [since we are downloading a game over the web, since falls under that category], it honestly comes with a lot of trial and error, and something trying different things outside of the norm tend to work when you least
except it.

I would recommend downloading the most you can via your ethernet wired connection, and then attempting to complete the download over Wi-Fi. If you have a dual-band router, I would recommend using the 5 GHz network if you are significantly close to your router,
as this band of network sacrifices range for network quality.

Otherwise I would implore you to use 2.4 GHz as this will supply you with a better connection just in case your router is not in the same room.

Please, let us know if this does anything substantial, as the next steps would involve us manipulating your network via your router configuration.

Yes I am using a wired connection.

But as I have already mentionned, I do not have any problem downloading any other game so I do not understand how would this change anything ...

I have already done all these manipulations twice ...

In regards to error code
0x87E0000F, this might indicate that you are having intermitted connection issues when downloading the game.

Does the game reach any percentage when downloading or do you just receive this error code, also does this occur with other games you try to download as well?

I would try to suggest seeing if there is anyway to connect to an alternate network, just to test if we can identify if there is some connection issues with your console.

Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

Try rebooting everything and power cycling the router.

I just downloaded the game with no issues.
