Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag region Locked for South Africa?

Hi,

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is currently available for Xbox 360 Live members to download for free. But I cant download it.

I live in South Africa and my Xbox was bought in, and set for, South Africa, but I can not download it.

Is this game Region locked as well?

If so, Then I'd like to express my absolute disgust to Microsoft Xbox for happily taking our money each month and then Region locking all the games that are suppossed to be free! I'm so angry with you guys! I'm really starting to HATE microsoft for doing
this.

If not, then please give me an explanation why I cant download it successfully.

The game is available in South Africa so it shouldn't be a region issue. What happens when you try downloading it?

FYI, region locks are put in place by the developers, not Microsoft.

 

Its your account region and actual region that has to match so if you have a uk account then your console region wont affect the region error

Please check your account at commerce.microsoft.cim

You can always get an game as long as tour account region and actual region are the same

Thank you for the reply, I went and deleted the partially downloaded game, then tried again, and it seems like it's working.

Holding thumbs that it's finish the complete download.
