Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Lost Progress

I recently started up my XBOX ONE to play Assassin's Creed IV, and now appear to have lost all of my progress (13%) in the game.

I am now back to 0%, and starting over at the very start.

I have already tried the following:

- cycled power to the XBOX and restarted the game

- removed my profile and reinstalled it

- performed full factory reset and reinstalled the game and profile

- selected several different recent achievements and tried to start from there - still sent me back top 0%.

Any help with how I can get my progress back would be much appreciated, as I'm not interested in starting over and investing time to have this happen again!

YOUR Personal GOTY 2013 is...

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Absolutely loved every minute of it and I finally feel that Assassin's Creed II has been topped.

 

The same thing happened to me today. I was at 48%. Went to 0%. And it is not saving any progress. Always goes to zero. Any ideas?

 

The problem is still here in 2015! I bought the Holiday bundle with AC BF and Unity. After losing my save twice to another profile on my System, I've completed research into this issue. The Developer UbiSoft is using the Cloud based save system, and whenever
their servers have a hiccup or go down, so do some game saves. I've heard the PC community has resolved the issue by way of copying the save somewhere safe, and the 360 isn't confined by the Cloud only game save, so they don't have this problem. This game
save wipe/ corruption is only on the Xbox One due to the UbiSoft servers. And from what I can tell, its been a problem for years without resolution.

 

Thanks for the updates, sorry to hear no progress. I quit worrying about it a while ago, moved on to other pursuits.
