Assassin's Creed II Platinum Hits Edition?

Is there something different with the Platinum Hits Edition that prevents it from being backwards compatible? When I insert the disc, I get a "not playable on this console" error, just like inserting a game that is not on the list. If this is the case,
will it change or did I just waste some cash?? Assassin's Creed II, Platinum Hits Edition, English, NTSC, has "525349-DVDP" on the disc. Thanks much.

I liked both DLC, although Battle for Forli was short. I liked the Assassination Contracts, so Bonfire of Vanities was great! I thought the merchant on the ship was the most difficult. I also thought it cool that the 3 Templar Lairs were made available
from Collector's edition.

Hey, BornMean5246! Sorry to see any issues with your disc! It should work without issue. Have you tried another disc of it? We've seen some discs work and some not. Generally, replacing it has resolved this issue. Let us know if that helps!
