Assassin's Creed China Don't Buy It - A Waste of Money

I have played Assassin's Creed games from 1 all the way through 4 Black Flag to include Revolution and Brotherhood. Assassin's Creed China does not let you download a trial and the game that they charge you $9.99 for is only an Atari level game that takes
you back over 10 years ago. It is a waste of money for sure. I am posting this in general forum because Assassin's creed China is not listed in games, and now I can see why. You can rest assurd, that I will not pay for anymore downloadable games unless
a trial can be obtained first. I hope all who reads this helps save you $10.

Well since assassin's creed 3 is region free, i may buy it then? It just this game that i intend to buy. Could you please confirm whether what i saying stands true? I don't want to waste my money. And also sorry for my noobiness :S

And will i experience graphic problem? i play on HD ty through HDMI

Don't be dismissive of games just because of their price tag. There are some great games on the One that aren't your standard $59.99 titles.

Uhhhhhhhh yeah, doesn't everybody already know Assassin's Creed is a waste of money? I bet the next one will be set in the year 2552, on board a space station, but he'll still wear exactly the same outfit...

But seriously though, never much fancied the AC games, bored the hell out of me haha

 

I only spent about 20 minutes with the free one with gold. My frustration level rose to rage quit status almost immediately.

 

Not sure what you were expecting from a stylistic 2.5d game there OP. It's a spin-off like Blackgate for the Arkham games. Playing the main Creed games only carries your interest in the themes into a spin-off -- but it doesn't guarantee that it'll meet your
gameplay expectations for the franchise.

I have no interest in Chronicles though.

I've decided my continued support for the Assassin's Creed franchise on the current generation of consoles hinges on the next game announcement in a coupla days. If it doesn't make me wet myself I think I'll leave the franchise on last gen and call it a
day...

... maybe hop over to Watch Dogs or something instead. The Creed is taking on that American TV show feel. Too long and meandering with no end in sight. =)

 

Some of the things the OP has said is why I want to play the game.... I think it will be interesting to play a 2.5D scroller with Assassin's Creed influence and only $10? Bargain! Haha.

I just need to find the time to play it, so haven't bought it yet.
