Assassins Creed Black Flag and Ubisoft Server Connection Issue

I recently baught AC Black Flag despite the awesome newer games out now because I have always been an assassins creed fan. I played through most of the game till I reached a level where the fleet became available to me and I discovered a companion app on
my cell for the fleet which I thought was cool but disappointing because after almost a week of playing I discover that I cant connect to the ubisoft server to access my fleet OR play multiplayer! I paid for a FULL game and Im playing half.

I did some research on the net and seen that many people are having this issue. I read blogs dating back to summer of last year. I read terrible things about ubisoft tech support from numerous sites, people stating that Ubisoft techs have no idea what their
talking about and have no solutions on the phone or the net etc, a lot of crap talk but Im sure dozens of people from different sites are not making this up.

I have looked at all of Ubisofts possible solutions to the problem and confirmed both my console and internet connection are functioning as normal but I still cant access the Ubisoft server. I also cant access some single player content because I cant access
my fleet. This is pathetic. I have always known Ubisoft to be a triple A developer and this is the crap they dish out in a new generation of console? Pathetic.

If anyone has an answer as to how I can resolve the issue, please reply.

If I'm readin ubisofts blog correctly it ships at 900p on both consoles.

Sadly not. I'm still waiting for a fix to this issue. hahahaha, like that's ever going to happen. Needless to say, it's never Ubisoft's fault and they blame it on anything other than themselves. Shocking way to treat your customers.
