Assassin's Creed 4 freezes on launch

So I have been playing the game just fine before now but today when i tried to get on, when i got the the screen just before the main menu ( when it says "press Start to play") i press start and the game and my entire console freezes. I have tried tried
playing on a different account, on the same xbox and with the same disk, and it seems to work just fine then. but if i try to log out and log in using my regular account, while on the main menu, i encounter the same freezing problem as before. So i am wondering
if it is something wrong with my account.

all of these will launch on other systems earlier but they will be x1 launch titles

 

Console Freeze when playing AC 4

Assassin's Creed 4 is the only game that freezes right away and every time, but I've noticed more freezing than usual on other games too.

 

Im trying to find the answer to this as well. The same exact thing happened to me.Multiplayer works fine but any attempt to play single player results in a complete console crash

If u find out let me know

 

The same thing is happening to me, every other game I have works even the multiplayer disk. But when I press start on disk 1 it freezes the entire console. At first I thought it was the game disk so I had the disk refurbished but it still doesn't work.

 

Same exact thimg happened to and i cant find a solution anywhere and im starting to get mad

 

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? It happened to me and I've been searching for a solution with no luck.

 

Yea i just got the game yesterday same thing is happening Xbox support is no help

 

Hi, guys! Sorry that Assassin's Creed 4 is crashing on you!

If we can, I'd like you to get a flash drive and move (not copy) your saved games for AC4 over to it. Once you do that, unplug the flash drive from the console and try to launch up the game in single player mode. Let me know if that works. If that does, your
game save is corrupt and you won't be able to use it anymore.

If it doesn't help you out, please
clear the cache on your console for me.

I cleared the cache on my console. Didn't work. However, I've discovered that it only freezes completely when I use my account. The error doesn't persist to the other accounts on my console.
