Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Not able to get past title screen on Xbox One.

My Assassin's Creed 4 game is stuck on the title screen. I load up the game normally and it comes to the title screen where it says press A to enter. I press A and it says loading or connecting to Uplay account, then it says syncing to cloud and as it is
syncing it just stops and sends me back to the title screen and says press A. It is a disc based game. I've tried uninstalling it twice now and it still doesn't work, I've went to Ubisoft Support and they said I should delete my save because it could be corrupted
but i have to get into the game to delete my save. Here is a video of my situation: Dropbox - Error

Did Anyone Get Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China For The Xbox One?

Boas BS5, I Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag was a disappointment in my opinion.

My problem with Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag was that it was a wasted opportunity. Instead of taking a risk to create a new (Pirate) IP. They cash grabbed a solid pirate game and used the Assassin's Creed name.

Imagine having the Black Flag mechanics, with Dragon Age/Mass Effect style party/crew recruiting for your ship. Being able to board and take any ship and make it yours with total ship customization. That is only the surface of my ideas for what Black Flag
could have been.

And that is why I personally frown upon Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag. It was a fun, solid game. But a garbage Assassin's Creed

 

Worth buying?

Just brought the Assassin's Creed Anthology, so definitely buying Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag

when you try to uninstall the game ... did you uninstall patch and all the other thing ?

I Suggest to try to put your language to english and location USA.

When I uninstalled the game I uninstalled the patch and all the things, and I changed my location to USA and it didn't work, I also to put it as UK and it didn't work.

 

This might be a Uplay problem. I had something similar happen to my save for Madden 25. When it signed into my ea account it was getting stuck when trying to load from my saves. Ultimately had to start a new save. Hope that is not the case with yours
though. Maybe someone else has a fix.

 

I thought it was a corrupted save to, it could be, but I can't delete it because I have to get into the main menu to delete the save on the xbox one. I've asked ubisoft to help and they said to ask microsoft because I said I tried the same disc on my friends
xbox one and it works so it isn't the disc's problem.

 

UPDATE: I used my account on my friends xbox one, it had all my saves from the cloud on it. I played Assassin's Creed 4 on it and it worked and I was able to play it from where I left off in my campaign. This means that it isn't a corrupted save, I think
it's just my xbox one that is broken. Would anyone else agree on that I should get a new xbox one?

Yeah, I have. What I did, with help from xbox support, was to just reset to factory default.

 

Did you lose your save data though?

 

No, all the save data is saved to your profile and the mysterious magicalness of the CLOUD!!!

 

Mark this as answered please. Factory reset fixed issue - save files are not lost because they are synced to the cloud.

 

A hard reset will fix this issue (factory reset not required). with xbox one hold your finger on the power button for 10secs, unplug power cable. plug cable and turn back on you should now hopefully be able to connect to the cloud again. This has happened
to me before, and has fixed the issue.
