    Assassins Creed 3 should be free, but it wants me to pay


    Hello, I have a problém with Gold membership while I try to „buy“ and download Assassins Creed 3, which is for free this month. Once I open the game in store on my Xbox One, there is an option of show the price and then it wants me to pay for the game approx.
    8 USD (200 CZK). I was recommended to contact support, because member of xbox community had the same issue. Can you help me with that? Thanks.

    xbox live gold assassins creed revelations

    i have live with gold and want to download the assassins creed revelations but it is saying i must pay for it. thought it was free with gold

    i just bought xbox so i have still 14 trial (13 days left) and after that iam going to buy 12 month...anyway, other games, like speedrunners and lara croft were ok to download without problem

    That would be the problem. Trials don't change your account status to gold. A full gold subscription is required in order to download the 360 games with gold games. Xbox One games with gold games required a gold subscription to keep playing them for free,
    so they can be downloaded with a trial.

    That would be the problem. Trials don't change your account status to gold. A full gold subscription is required in order to download the 360 games with gold games. Xbox One games with gold games required a gold subscription to keep playing them for free,
    so they can be downloaded with a trial.

    Yesterday was the last day that Assassins Creed Rogue was available for free. If you still want the game, then you will have to pay for it.

    - Assassin's Creed 2, episode 2 (AC: Brotherhood)

    - Assassin's Creed 2, episode 3 (AC: Revelations)

    - Assassin's Creed 3

    - Assassin's Creed 3, episode 2 (AC: Black Flag)

    I think it would have made more sense that way. Yes, I know Black Flag will be a step backwards, but the classification of "episodes" will be related by a common person or direct bloodline, not chronology. Haytham, Connor and whomever the new pirate guy
    is in Black Flag are directly related (father, son, grandfather) so they should all be under the "Assassin's Creed 3" heading because they all deal with that particular family in that specific time period.
