Assassin's Creed 3 Completionist Achievement Cheated by Accident.

Non believers????

You freely admit you used a game save on your profile.

I have quoted section F of the code of conduct stating how that violates the rules.

Nobody is simply going to delete that achievement because you did it by "accident", they will remove it, reset you and ban you.

And you are hiding your games and achievements on the account you are posting on.

 

The worst part will be the waiting for it to happen

 

I don't understand people that try to use ignorance of the rules as an excuse to break the rules. Any good cop or lawyer will tell you that ignorance of the law does not excuse you if you get caught breaking the law.

The fact is, Assassin, whether or not you read the rules (as you should have), you agreed to them when you created your Xbox Live account/profile. You knowingly downloaded somebody else's game save and altered it so that you could use it on your profile.
The rules you agreed to specifically state that you cannot do this.

 

You admit you cheated.

It wasn't an accident, you knew exactly what you were doing.

Now you're afraid of being discovered and banned.

Good. I hope it happens. You deserve it.

 

I tried that type of excuse when I was 12. I stole Dungeons and Dragons books from a book store. After over $2000 worth I got caught. I said "I didn't know you had to pay for them. I thought it was a small library." It didn't work with that and won't
with this. I know you where better off keeping a lid on it. Sorry but you get what you get. You're also hiding your games for a reason.

 

MS most likely would not have noticed this one achievement you unlocked by cheating by accident. now you brought attention to yourself. i don't think they would really care. they go after people that cheat the achievements all the time.

 

Using a game save is NOT cheating.........

JMHO. Much like having someone else gather diamond/cobble in Minceraft.......

 

In fact,

Game saves from other people are REQUIRED for some achievements......

Take Halo Or Fable for example, You need someone else to have played with a developer,

Viral achievements is what they call them I think, This is NO different.

 

I've never seen any that say use another persons game save to get this achievement.
