Assassins Creed 1 not working on Xbox 360

    Assassins Creed 1 not working on Xbox 360


    A friend just gave me old Assassins Creed 1, it's a platinumhits box. But when I put it in the Xbox it said it's unreadable? Whats the issue?

    Should I get the:

    Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood Classic Edition this one GAME | Consoles, Games & Accessories & Free UK Delivery!

    or should I get the Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood Da Vinci Edition this one
    GAME | Consoles, Games & Accessories & Free UK Delivery!

    The reason for the question is that I'm not sure what the difference is between them they both say bonus content but not what it is, could you give me the pro's and con's between the editions.

    Assassins Creed 1 not working on Xbox 360

    Could be that the game disc is damaged.

    Make sure the disc is clean & has no scratches on it.

    Is there any way you could get your friend to see if it works in their console?

    The game is not scratched at all, and it works fine on my friends console.

    Hmm...Interesting, If the game works on your Friend's Console but not yours it might be your Disc Drive.

    assassin's creed dlc question

    Indeed, I know that it's regarding Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, when you buy Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag - Season Pass on Xbox One version it will not work on Xbox 360 because there is a version for Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag on Xbox 360 console and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag for Xbox One. Those two are different.

    I am playing Assassin's creed 2 on my Xbox S and cannot retrieve my saved games from the cloud or console ?

    Strangely it hasn't been a problem for Red dead Redemption 1 OR Assassins Creed 1 ( both on xbox 360).
