Assasins creed unity not working

  Assassins creed unity, which I had played fine earlier in the day, suddenly froze while starting and my Xbox one started making a strange buzzing noise. My game is on a disc, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the bug still occurred. Please help.

Smwutches is correct unity was never freee

The assasins creed blackflag is free for 360 but not unity

There are 2 arcade titles free but no assasins creed for xbox one yet

Hey mate,

Doesn't sound good, could either be an issue with the disc, or with the xbox itself.

Have you tried hard booting your console? Have the console on at the dashboard, then hold the power button down for 10seconds on the front until it switches off. Then wait a minute or two before switching it back on. When you turn it on, it should load up
to the green xbox screen before going to the dashboard, which shows you've done it correctly.

Then try it again and hopefully it'll work!

I have tried this but unfortunately it didn't change anything, I tried starting the game on a different user, but on the same Xbox and it was fine. Mabey I should contact Ubisoft customer support or something?

 

Hey mate,

Might be worth a shot, however I think they'll just send you back here to be honest.

Its hard to troubleshoot, as the game is notoriously buggy, so it could be any number of issues.

So does the xbox only make buzzing noises while attempting to play this game? or does it buzz all the time now? Also, does it give you an error or anything when you try and play?

Sorry for the questions, but will help us narrow down where the issue lies, and from there I can either give you an answer, or tell you where you can go for one

Thanks, it only buzzes when it freezes, and after several seconds the game shuts down and the buzzing stops. The buzzing is definitely the game because turning the volume down on the tv makes it quieter.

 

Oh and there's no error message, it just shuts down
