    Asking me to renew to keep VIP status


    I am getting a message on the rewards page telling me to renew to keep my VIP status . My account is good until 4/ 2018. Not sure what's going on. My points never deposited last month either, currently 9750.

    Have I got gold level rewards

    Hi Support,

    Every time I log into rewards and look at my VIP Star Rank I am getting the following message - Don't lose your Gold VIP status! Renew today to keep getting 8% back in the Xbox Store.

    I had renewed for 3 months before my Gold expired earlier this month and have since renewed for another year taking me to September 2018.

    Can you confirm that I am still getting double 8% rewards.

    No. The Rewards program itself is free, but VIP status is based on how much you spend in the marketplace. So you just have to make purchases in order to keep VIP status.

    We see that you are being recognized as Gold. It takes us up to 96 hours to receive and process new activity, so if you had a recent renewal, it likely took us a day or so to get that information. Regarding your deposit,

    pending Credits require one deposit cycle to process. A general rule of thumb is Credits pending on the 1st through 15th will be deposited in the end of month deposit. Credits pending on the 16th through the 31st will be deposited in the mid-month deposit
    the following month. Since your Credit events occurred in the latter half of last month, they will be deposited in the mid-April deposit.

    Support will check into it, but keep in mind that as of July 1, 2014, there are no credits for renewing gold. Preorders do not count towards VIP.

    No credits or MyVip Stars for any purchases, achievements, and gold renewal

    Support will check on your VIP status (you need 1 star level to start earning VIP rebates). But as of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold.

    Achievements will only earn credits if they are part of a specific offer on the site at the time. Generally the offers include having to purchase a game specific to the offer and then earning a certain number of achievements in that game.
