    Hello,

    I have a problem with my Xbox one i'm asked to free up storage space. However, I have over 600 gb of storage space left. 280 gb on my internal drive and 350 gb on my external. What i have done so far is:

    Hard reset

    Bluray space reset

    Revert to factory setting while keeping my games

    It is really annoying everytime i play a game i get pop ups every 2 minutes or so that ask me to free up storage.

    Could this be a software bug? The only thing i have installed today was an update of some apps en a game.

    Hi, so I am trying to download vengance for call of duty black ops 2 and its 1.94 gb, right? So I have 200.00 or over space and Im confused as to is that like a bigger storage space than needed because when I try downloading it it will go to pending downloads
    and say dievice full. I am not using cloud storage but the xbox storage with my gamss in it and gamer pictures and avatar items and stuff. I did have not much space after downloading uprising but then I deleted some other stuff which left me with over 200.00
    space. Please help me as I am confused. Thanks.

    The Xbox One has a 500 GB HDD, but only 375 GBs is usable.

    My Xbox One has 231 GBs of storage space left and I don't have an External HDD yet.

    My Xbox 360 has 160 GBs of storage space left.

    Xbox One games take up about 40 to 50 GBs of HDD space.

    Xbox 360 game take up about 6 to 8 GBs of HDD space.

    series x says "We can't save more data for this game or app".

    Hi You will have run out of storage space on your console. You have a few options, you can either Delete some games/save data from your console to make room, or install additional storage space. The easiest wawy would be to remove some games/save data from the existing storage.
    I have 500gb left of space on my console itself and I have an external storage with almost 2tb of storage left so that it’s full is not the case here

    Hi,

    Game updates can only be downloaded to the drive said game is installed to. If a drive is full or nearly full you won't be able to update the game.

    For example: The Game And Apps screen shows total drive space across all storage. So, if you have say 5GB free on internal and 595GB on external, it will show 600GB.

    If the game that needs to be updated is installed on the drive with only 5GB, but the update is 6GB, you would need to either free up space on the drive or move the whole game to a drive with free space in order to update it.

    Power cycling won't fix this.

    This usually means that you do not have enough free space on your storage device. Make sure you have enough storage space.
