    I don't understand why the account creation and management has to be so convoluted and not user friendly to simply play games together...

    Here I am after giving up multiple times and coming back around looking up my problem only for the answers given on this forum and others not to work.

    I want to play minecraft with my 2 children and I have 1 xbox and 2 PCs.

    After playing split screen forever and my children simply wanting their own persistent character this has become a NIGHTMARE.

    Somehow I managed to create one profile that works as intended.

    Yet when I add my other child to the family account (again, this is asinine and more trouble then it is even worth) they cannot join the game because of some privacy or content block which there are NO options to change when I log in online.

    So I go ahead and remove them from the family and then add them in as an organizer with zero restrictions right? WRONG

    They still have the SAME block and NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK.

    Creating emails and connecting them all under one account and verifying and checking codes back and forth endlessly is infuriating!

    Why are the child controls in the microsoft account so UN USER FRIENDLY?

    Why can I not simply click a button to allow them to play? I don't understand this.

    No I am not going to create another account using some other email that I would have to make for a child to play minecraft.

    Everything I have done thus far should have solved the problem yet it has not.

    Why?

    Here we are again.

    Like I said I get so frustrated with this that I give up and come back around every now and then and try to fix it again.

    SO, no I cannot do what you suggested.

    When I login under my account I am unable to do anything listed in that link.

    When I mouse over my childs profile, it is "X"ed out.

    I cannot even click it.

    I am the family organizer...

    Again this is just ridiculous how convoluted and asinine this system is to simply play a local game with family members.

    What's the NEXT suggestion?

    Adding a child as an organizer will not solve the situation, you need to add it again as a child account

    I downloaded the game to try it out and at first, I couldn't even log into the game, I didn't go beyond Bethesda's account creation. Today I managed to play and join a team to test.

    Yes, I have the same problem. Except, the Xbox support page says that in order to wait 30 days its not from account creation, but from account download on to the xbox. And it was created 12/26, and downloaded onto an xbox yesterday. Do I have to wait from
    12/26, or from 1/12?

    I don't even understand why one would have to wait 30 days. You own both e-mails. You own both Gamertags. It's really asinine.
