Ascend Hand Of Kul - RELEASE AN UPDATE!!!!!

Ok, MS what is the deal with Ascend Hand of Kul! Very cool game, that badly needs an update and it just does not happen. Can anyone at MS take ownership to help your gamers understand why this game has not been updated in a long time? I know if free to play,
perhaps you don't make as much money from it, don't know, but at the end of the day, provide an explanation, please!

Ascend: Hand of Kul is a great game but not made by Microsoft. If you are asking for an update to the game you should post in the Signal Studios forums.

I understand the game is from signal, but their position is that they have submitted an update and MS just wont release it... WHY??

 

Posted all over signal studios. Update sent to MS and it is in MS hands with a lot of apologies and hoping MS will roll out.......eventually. What's the hold up? Someone's got to get this moving. Fantastic game but desperately needs some updating!!!

Yep this game is awesome and need a update badly. Signal are the developer and Microsoft Studios is the publisher. But as with any TU on the 360 it must go though MS certification team and they have kept hold of the Ascend update for months with out saying
why they are not releasing it. The game is now on Steam and as been updated every week since release. The last 360 TU was Feb 14. Come on MS

 

Microsoft, please post a status update with projected release date for the Feb 2014 Ascend patch. There are many players very anxious to see that patch released ASAP. If you would like some help testing the patch before release, I'd be happy to assist,
and I'm sure many other current Ascend players would be willing as well. Ascend is already a very good game even in its infancy at this early beta stage, and has the potential to become a really great game. However, it cannot grow without the patches, and
whenever a patch is delayed you risk losing your customer base. As a general rule we gamers are impatient, so we will move on to other games if you can't maintain our attention with frequent updates.

It certainly does need to be fixed. Great game, but the freezing is getting old. Can't do anything in the sanctum without freeze ups. Please, MS...if there's an issue at least let the developers know what it is and let them fix it.

various issues players have been experiencing over the weekend.

We are deeply saddened by this decision and the impact it has on our community. While Microsoft discontinued support for the Xbox 360 version of Ascend, Signal has released a free BETA version of the game on Steam with a wealth of gameplay improvements where
the community can still enjoy slaying trolls and converting altars.

In appreciation of our fans, Signal Studios will grant all new Ascend PC players a starting bonus of souls totaling 25K which can be used to purchase gear, spells and buffs. All existing Ascend PC players will receive a 10K soul bonus just for playing.

^ Really disappointing that they couldn't get the update through. I am hoping that they revert back to a previous update so the game is at least playable. Hopefully this isn't the end.

 

they will be shutting down the server for the game nov.18th so we have until then to play the game on the xbox 360

 

The game will most likely not see anymore updates on the Xbox 360 version, and the main problem isn't with the update itself but with the version of the game that Microsoft replaced it with.

This is why people with the old version of the game installed have not needed an update and that they can continue to play the game up until November 18. If you only delete the game itself and proceed to download the game again, it will then tell you that
the update is missing while in the main menu, because that you have does not match that version of the game.

Luckily the PC version will continue to move forward, and the game doesn't need any demanding specs to run. Lowest settings I've seen that were needed would be an integrated Intel HD 4000, and it should run fine. If you run into any problems with it, then
post a bug report on Signal's forums so it can be looked at and fixed.

This game was fun on my xbox 360 - as for being "FREE" not at all - I paid hundreds of dollars on gear and upgrades - so if Signal now has this on PC via Steam great - they said for new players they get 25k bonus - and for existing players 10k - wonderful!
Except where is my existing account with all that I have earned and paid for with real money!!!? Or is my account all lost and my money wasted over bs politics with MS and Signal - cause I will seek for either or both to refund me every dime I paid. Not here
to get ripped off by either company regardless! Everything is so *** vague - what a shame - fun game and they ruin it! I hope my account and all I earned are not lost because of this bs. Any feedback is appreciated. Ty JJ
