    Arrows on extended storage games after switching between systems


    I have a series x from launch and have had the extended storage from this time. Recently I had to work away do bought a series s to use, I took my extended storage from the series x and used it on the series s. I plugged the extended storage in before plugging the xbox in to the mains and at first it would show up but with no content, however after removing it and hot plugging it all was good and I was able to play the games. Upon returning home I plugged the extended storage back into the series x, all is good and all the games work. However, every game on the extended has arrows on it as if it needs internal. They run fine and play without issue but I cannot get rid of the arrows, I've tried copying to internal (arrows dissapear) and back to extended (arrows reappear). I've even deleted flight simulator and redownloaded it and it's the same, short of format and redownload 1tb of data I am at a loss. The series s is on the regular non insider ring and the x is on alpha skip ahead, both using the same profile. Any ideas on what could be the issue.

    TL;DR Arrows will not go away on seawater extended storage after using it on a different xbox.

    Just to clarify, when you switch between games the system restarts? Does it continue to do this after you do a hard reset of the console by holding down the power button?

    Manage saves on Xbox Live

    Hello! For Xbox, there are three options for storing your data and you can switch between them but for saving game data to the cloud you must be on Xbox live and connected to the internet in order for it to save. You can also choose to store your game data
    on an external hard drive which doesn't require Xbox live or internet. Everything is automatically saved onto the internal drive as long as you have enough storage.

    You can find all the options in settings under "System Storage" and then you can click on "Manage storage"

    when it works which like I said is like 90% of the time when it doesn't work I flip the switch and nothing happens the dispensers are fully loaded but nothing happens
    when the switch is flipped, the chest is just extra arrow storage and has nothing to do with the design.

    Switching between consoles wouldn't cause this. Since the achievements system on Xbox 360 have to do with the developers of the game, it may have to do with a miscommunication between the game and the achievement system. We can't say for sure, but we have
    the proper teams working on it for you. :)
