Arris: DMZ

Discus and support Arris: DMZ in XboX Networking Hardware to solve the problem; Arris (Modems/Gateways): DMZ This didn't work for me until I read somewhere to make sure your firewall is checked on!     This didn't work for me until I read somewhere to make sure your firewall is checked on! Go to firewall tab and enable it. Should make NAT open.

    Login Information

    • Gateway - 192.168.2.1
    • Username - N/A (None)
    • Password - N/A (None)



    DMZ



    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Type http://192.168.2.1/ into your address bar. (Or click the link)
    3. Click the Login button.
    4. Leave the password space blank and click Submit.
    5. Select Firewall from the menu on the left.
    6. Select DMZ from the submenu on the left.
    7. Enter the IP Address of the Console in the Private IP box.
    8. Check the enable button.
    9. Click the Save button in the lower right.


    Disable DMZ



    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Type http://192.168.2.1/ into your address bar. (Or click the link)
    3. Click the Login button.
    4. Leave the password space blank and click Submit.
    5. Select Firewall from the menu on the left.
    6. Select DMZ from the submenu on the left.
    7. Uncheck the enable the box.
    8. Click the Save button in the lower right of the screen.

    • Username - admin
    • Password - password

    DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway into the address bar (192.168.0.1) of the internet browser.
    3. The router will then prompt for a user name and password. The default is that user name is "admin" and the password is “password”.
    4. From the menu on the top select Wireless.
    5. From the submenu on the top select Firewall.
    6. From the menu on the left select DMZ.
    7. Select the checkbox next to "Enable DMZ".
    8. In Private IP enter the IP Address assigned to the Xbox console you wish to DMZ.
    9. Select Apply.
