We are all opinionated; some more than others. Lol. About the only thing that gets a wide out of me, is the people that believe in the,"Microsoft s original vision was a buy one copy of a game, get nine more free!". I may disagree with them, but I respect
their opinion.

I agree with Randver in that the game G.G. originally posted about is original and creative, though in my opinion, is more suited to a mini game rather than a full blown game.

It's also my opinion that without the constant disagreements in these forums, they wouldn't be half as entertaining.

also i have to point out how stupid this thread is. the original poster obviously had no brains to actually sit back and think about the post. who in there right mind would think that all sony has shipped to switzerlands biggest game retailer is 6 consoles!!!

For some strange reason you have this view of me that is completely inaccurate and apparently nothing to back it up. I don't direct comments towards anyone in any forum the way you do to me here. You may want to take a long hard look in the mirror before
you come pointing fingers at me for being the destructive force in this forum.

Depends how people see right and wrong.

The other day I was involved in a discussion about Forza, someone asked when the first Forza was released, I got it totally wrong and posted 2 years before it actually released lol, someone corrected me and I admitted I got it wrong.

Then there's the threads where I think there is no right and wrong but some just don't grasp others have different views. For example, anyone remember the fanboy topics ... "Battlefield Vs COD" ... It was non stop arguing, back and forth ... "This one is
better" .... "No it's that one" blah blah, but for someone who prefers COD, it doesn't matter what someone says who prefers BF, it's what they prefer regardless but the arguing/insults etc just go on and on and on, this sort of behaviour always puzzles me
about gamers, why so intense? Like Randver said above, it's not like we are talking about religion/politics etc topics where I can understand people getting a little more heated but about games/consoles?

 

This all started cause I didn't like the graphics on the escapist. My personal opinion which I have every right to have. It's not right, it's not wrong. Justin opinion. I was attacked by Randver and GG as being close minded, a graphics ***, and someone who
would never like indies. The. I made one little comment on this that wasn't even negative. Straight off, I was attacked again. And now it appears I'm being labeled the bad guy! Fantastic.

 

Well this thread turned into a steaming pile....

I have to be honest, I like seeing Randver pop up in posts because the reaction he seems to create in here is priceless (i dont always agree with what is said though but thats irrelevant)

I'm not labeling you the bad guy for your opinion on the two indie titles ( I still believe someone should play a game before passing judgment on it but....). My issue with you is the way you talk to people.

 

I do find it funny that the title of the thread matches whats going on in it.

 

Round and round like hamsters in a wheel. Working hard to get somewhere and never really getting there.

 

I don't talk to people any particular way. Unless I'm spoken too that way first.

The escapist - I said I didn't like the graphics. I don't have to play a game to see its graphics. That's what the video link was for. I never once mentioned the gameplay. It's exactly like food. I'm not going to eat something that looks like dog poo, even
if it tastes like chocolate bliss! I didn't like the look of the game. GG asked who was going to be playing it? How can anyone really give an answer based on a video. That's all we had to go off. I didn't like the graphics, I stated that, you guys attacked.

Roundabout - I stated that this "looks" (key word is looks, not is) frustrating. Didn't bash it, no negative comments, no mention of graphics, no calling it a crappy indie title. Just a simple opinion from what I could see in a video that was posted by GG.
Once again, I was attacked.

Now your saying it's because of the way "I" speak to people.

Look here's a simple solution. I won't comment on a game that I havnt played before because I may offend someone with my "opinion". Until I've physically played said game, I won't give an opinion on a video of it, even though that's what the thread was asking.
I will play every game that comes out even if I don't like the look of it. And I will also eat dog poop if some stranger tells (with links) that it tastes like chocolate heaven.

Oh and I won't talk rudely to people who were rude to me from the get go. So please come me walk all over me good sir!

I think most people would probably look at my post, GG's post and not use the words "attacked" or "rude". Your post from about page 5 on......debatable.

 

Whatever you want to believe mate! It's your "opinion" and I can respect that. A lesson you may want to learn.
