Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel game save corrupt

Hello,

I've just beaten the game half way through with my coop partner with split screen mode on my xbox 360. After re-entering the game my partner pressed "START" at the beginning of the game on the 2nd controller and not myself on the first controller. After
the first registration procedures we were told that the game save file is corrupt and can't be loaded but a new save file could be generated. I've

• re-booted the console with no result
• deleted the system cache with no result and
• finally created a new save file

Now I would have to start the game all over again to get back to the mission where we have left the game. Is there any solution on that?

Unfortunately once a file becomes corrupt, there's no way around it.

I do highly recommend though that you go to your System Settings/Storage/Games and find the game, select it, then look for the corrupt save file and delete it. You'll know it's corrupt because the normal icon will be replaced by a yellow triangle with a
white exclamation mark in it. It's important to delete this file because it could potentially further corrupt any more save files for that game in the future. Once you've done this, clear the system cache again & restart your console.
