Ark xbox without controller

Greetings, i have left my controller at a friends house but i need to start up my ark server. Smartglass buttons dont work on ark and i cant get to the settings to turn on keyboard support. I dont have another controller and i cant go get mine for a week.

Is there any way i can simulate an xbox controller withput buying a new one?

You can use the Xbox without a controller but you won't necessarily get all of the functionality out of it. You can control elements of your console, chat and share updates with an app by connecting a standalone mouse and keyboard or use a third-party adapter to connect a mouse and keyboard. You can also use the Xbox App to control your Xbox one and play your games remotely from your console.

I am testing the wired controller as we speak. Idk about windows 10 or 11 it's not on pc it's just xbox. And ark only game on server so yes only ark.

i honestly dont remember what it was called it said it needed to download for game services on the xbox app and it said i couldnt play ark without it and when i go to join an ark session it says couldnt find address

Ok tank you. But I have got an other question. We have Ark on my brother's old account, so if we put it as the main account, I can play Ark without any restrictions right ?

But can I download Ark free on my PC on Windows 10 with the Xbox Play Anywhere, as I'm not the owner of the game ?

If you have an xbox controler and the xbox usb stick to plug into your computer. Use that. For some reason the join ark button doesn't work with the mouse. You have to connect a controler and use that
