    Ark wont cross play for my daughter


    Hey guys,

    I am trying to set my daughters account up so we can play Ark together but I keep getting a message up saying "you cannot see content other people make becyase of how your account is set up." I am on PC she is on my xbox.

    I have gone through and altered settings here and there but I still cannot get it to work. Any ideas to get this working will be great.

    We are both on each others freinds list and most of her family settings are set to friends only.

    Hello Vicodyn, i believe you can`t because Ark is no cross platform

    "Ark is only cross-platform for iOS and Android players or Xbox and Windows PC. This means that in order to play Ark on the Xbox, Playstation, or Nintendo Switch, you need to buy it for that platform."

    I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

    No it hasn't because I still can't play on my boyfriend server with him on my laptop when it states ark can Cross platform with PC computer, I have a PC laptop, a gaming laptop

    "Enable cross-play functionality: Make sure the cross-play option is enabled" - how do i do that? I never saw an option like that in ARK.

    Can someone on a xbox series x join a non dedicated server created by a pc player on Ark Surival Ascended? And vice versa? If so? How?

    Cross play is enabled on ARK Survival Ascended, but only in dedicated servers.

    Non-dedicated servers do not support cross play at the moment.
