    ARK - Windows 10 and steam version


    Recently I purchased Ark on the windows store to play with friends who own it on xbox.

    I already have the game on steam and recently did a reinstall of 30gb download.

    I have now started the download for windows store version and its 70gb. Is this necessary? There is no way i can use the steam files.

    This is only an issue as my internet is around 150kb/s download speed and will take a long tine to download

    Change Ark language with windows store edition (crossplay)

    Hello

    I bought the windows store version of the game Ark on PC (windows 10) to play with a friend who owns an Xbox and there is no option to put the game in French, while the Xbox crossplay version my friend is entirely in French, moreover I have the Steam version
    which is in French also .

    The "Boxed" Disc version of Flight Simulator X does not work in Windows 10. That being said, Steam does offer a "Steam Edition" version of FSX that works wonderfully. It retails for $25.00 on Steam, but it can be found on sale as low as $5.00.

    Ark in the Windows Store is different from the Ark in Steam. Therefore, Steam mods may not be compatible with the Windows Store version.

    Hey NoLiverYasin.

    Thank you for reaching out to the forum. As i'm aware, the Steam version does not do crossplay with Xbox. But there is crossplay with xbox when using the windows store version of Ark.

    Yes cross play is enabled on xbox/PC(window store version only not steam version)

    The Windows store version is crossplay with the Xbox version because of version matching. The Steam version tends to be a different iteration
    of the code.

    I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

    Its been over a month for me and I am still not able to download any version of ark off windows store. steam version works perfectly fine. windows 10 has issues acquiring license.. what gives?!

    I've literally tried every troubleshooting step you can find on the internet.

    all of this to no avail..
