    hello im trying to update ark on windows 10 but when i go to the store and click the 3 dots for downloads and updates the update doesnt pop up. I no the update is live because i have downloaded it on my xbox one, also on the main screen of ark where it
    says join\host ect. it has information on the new map. So how can i get the update to launch?

    In regards to this, please be informed that, by default the Windows Store

    automatically updates games     installed on your PC whenever there a update released from Microsoft.

    Since you have already
    checked for updates manually    , this would imply that the title is already updated.

    There could be a slight possibility that the update may be taking a bit longer to come out on for Xbox Play Anywhere [XPA] titles on PC.

    I might recommend visiting the
    ARK forums    , for a bit more info and see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

    In addition to this, the update has been live for PC players for some time now.
    steam, but not xbox play anywhere. if that was the case wouldn't we already have it by now? i've been having the same issue all day. i want to host my server from my pc but i can't.

    ARK Windows 10 should be getting the update today. Following CED (ComplexMinded) on twitter is my go to for ARK information as he's the ARK Community Manager and he keeps the community pretty updated :)

    This could be an issue where the person hosting the server hasn't updated the Ark server to match the latest Xbox version. Try getting them to update the ark server and see if that helps.
