    Ark ultimate survivor edition on xbox not letting me play the dlcs


    So basically I downloaded the main game first which came with an update, which I appreciate because I do not have very good internet so any type of help with that is very much appreciated, anyways I downloaded all of the dlcs but I can't play them even though they are on the homescreen of ark, it keeps saying that I need to update the game, it is super dumb since it has all the dlcs, I figured that I could just play the slightly older version of the dlcs until I actually could update but apparently not. If you make basically a definitive version of ark make it actually work like a definitive version next time

    I still play ark on steam but I have the Xbox game pas ultimate and its giving me ark ultimate survivor edition for free and I nead the xbox ark to play the ultimate edition so what do I do

    That’s really odd
    May I know if you tried power cycling your console?

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
    Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

    Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

    If that doesn’t work, are you able to reinstall the DLCs manually?
    If yes, please try that

    So I have an xbox one x and I have downloaded all of the dlcs, they were all pretty small updates so that should have honestly been a sign, anyways basically it keeps telling me that I have to update to play any of the dlcs even the center which makes no sense since I could play that one before

    What Xbox console do you have?
    What did you tried so far to fix this, in that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    In the meantime try this:

    The ARK Scorched Earth DLC is not available to be purchased separately. You would need to purchase the ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition bundle or a Season Pass that contains this DLC.
