Ark Survival, troubles with Xbox controller bluetoothed to laptop.

Hi

Earlier today i hooked my xbox one controller to my laptop via Bluetooth to play Ark: Survival Evolved. The connection worked, however after i started the game and entered the world ive been using on my Xbox. The left joystick was not responding to my
character walking/running forward or backward. All other functions were working, right joystick, A, B ,X and Y and L / R triggers + the bumpers. I could turn via the right joystick, jump with A open my inventory and even craft items. Just my left joystick
was not responding. My controller was working fine through my Xbox before i bluetoothed it. And im currently using the controller now through the Xbox. L joystick is working fine. Has anyone had this trouble before and know how i can troubleshoot it?

I am postive that since i assume you downloaded ark on steam, that in the steam app, there is a setting on the top right corner of the screen where you can configure your controller that is conected, it is confusing at first, but you will get the hang
of it

It could be something in the controller configuration on the laptop.

there will be some in the game itself somewhere (sorry I can't be more specific as I don't play Ark) Also check the Xbox Accessories app, or whatever it's called on PC.
