    Hi,

    Not sure if this is the correct place to post, and I've been searching all over for days on this...

    Is there a way to run a dedicated server for Ark Survival Evolved from a Windows 10 machine/server that will allow XBox users to join?

    I run a private, dedicated server now for our family and friends use, but my son has a group of friends that can only play via XBox One.

    I'd like to set something up for them to play on that I know will be safe, and not have active/passive griefing going on.

    I do have an extra XBox One, but I'd rather not dedicate it as a Server (because I want to play too! Ark Survival Evolved, XBox Server running on Windows 10 :p ).

    So, if it isn't possible to set up a server on Windows 10, is there a way to pay through XBox for a private/hosted, dedicated server?

    Hi Hüseyin_572,

    I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

    hello there and thank you for coming to the forums, sorry to hear you are having some problems getting Ark to load up.

    i dont know too much when it comes to pc gaming but i did find a link that could possibly help it gives multiple things to do to get it working with windows 10 -> Ark

    Ark Survival Evolved: Required to purchase Extinction?

    Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

    If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
    Survival Evolved.
