Ark Survival Evolved Windows 10 Version

Me and my friend downloaded Ark Survival Evolved Windows 10 Version from the microsoft store. We went to join a public server, he connected with no problems, whereas it took me to a loading screen, then took me back to the server selection screen, when
i try to load it again it says cannot load address. This happens with all Servers, Dedicated and NonDedicated. I have Reinstalled, reset the app and reset the microsoft store and still nothing works. PLEASE HELP.

I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

hello there and thank you for coming to the forums, sorry to hear you are having some problems getting Ark to load up.

Could you possibly check to make sure your main pc isnt being blocked by the network firewall?

You posted a question for pc in the mostly xbox related forum, which is why you may find youll get xbox related answers here.

You may need to add the Ark application to the windows firewall
application exceptions list.

I logged in with another computer, same results. I have never had a multiplayer issue like this before on any other game. I also could not find where the multiplayer enabled settings.
