Ark survival evolved join failed (error)

I have discovered the problem. If anyone has this issue as well, install the Xbox companion app, go to settings, and then network. If server connection or NAT type do not show and have error messages, than follow the instructions that are in the link under the error message. This helped me, and I wasn’t able to find this solution anywhere

4. What is your NAT Type and is there error message or code on your Xbox Network? (Issues in Xbox Network - Double NAT detected, 0x89231906, can’t get a Teredo IP address, NAT Type: Unavailable, Teredo is unable to qualify, UPnP not successful).
   
   • For Windows 10:
     
     • PC Settings > Gaming > Xbox Network and check the NAT Type.
       
     • Look for NAT Type
       
     • Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
       
   • For Windows 11: Install Xbox Console Companion app from Microsoft Store (click here)
     
     • Launch Xbox Console Companion app.
       
     • Go to Settings and select Network tab.
       
     • Look for NAT Type.
       
     • Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
       
5. Did you recall installing any antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer in your computer?
   
6. Is your account's privacy has turned allowed multiplayer?
   
   • If you are a member of Microsoft Family and is using child account you need to let your parent/s or organizer of Microsoft Family to allow multiplayer in your account.

I understand your frustration. Here are some steps you could follow to solve the problem:

Check server capacity: In some cases, the number of players on a server is not updated in real time, so you may be trying to join a full server.
Check server status and internet connection: Make sure there is no server maintenance or downtime on the official Ark news page. Also, check if your internet connection is the problem by running a speed test and restarting your router if there is a problem.
VPN: If you have an active VPN, try to disable it as it can cause connection problems in rare cases. On the other hand, maybe your location is causing some problems, so enable a VPN and try joining the server again.
Firewall Access: Make sure to use the “Allow an application through the Firewall” option in the “Firewall and network protection” tab of the Windows Security menu.
Change date/time: Open “Date and time settings” and turn on “Set time automatically.”
