Ark Survival Evolved For Free on Windows 10 Marketplace if Owned on Steam

I own Ark: Survival Evolved on Steam. I want to crossplay with my friend on Xbox One, but I’m aware you must purchase Ark via the Windows 10 Marketplace to crossplay and not Steam. Is there anyway I can download Ark for free on the Windows 10 Marketplace
since I already own the game on Steam? I don’t want to drop another $50 on this game but would love to crossplay it with a buddy of mine. Thanks in advance.

I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

hello there and thank you for coming to the forums, sorry to hear you are having some problems getting Ark to load up.
