When ark comes out on the Xbox one I want to already have a tribe that that has a game plan . I'm looking for awesome people that feel the same way. I have been playing Ark on the PC so i understand how the game works. The game can be challenging at first

I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
Survival Evolved.

ARK: Survival Evolved is supporting cross-play across multiple platforms. Currently it is possible to play together with your friends on Windows PC, XBox One, Linux and Mac. Be aware that ARK: Survival Evolved has mutually exclusive combinations.
That means not all listed platforms are able to crossplay with each other. Check out all possible combinations in the sidebar.

Congrats! If you are playing on the Xbox One and have a friend who plays on a version from the Windows 10 Store, then you’re in luck. Microsoft does have cross-platform play between the two. Note: the
Windows 10 Store is different from Steam. If you bought the game on Steam, it is NOT the same as owning a copy on the Windows 10 Store. Yes, you are using Windows, but no it is on a different platform.
