an extra 30% on server prices for ark over ps4 and pc servers? GET YOURSELF TO **** MICROSOFT!!!! I've stayed loyal to u for over a decade n I'm seriously thinking of jumping ship. Pathetic!

ark player dedicated support

Hi there. Tell me the only way to host an ark server is with another XB1. You can't host a server from a pc?

Are all the dedicated ark servers XB1's

Could not agree more. Completely **** ludicrous that microsoft expect us to pay 30% more than the competition which is absolutely wiping the floor with them in terms of sales.

Where Ark is concerned, that has never really been an issue.

For example private servers, the admins who run them need such commands to be able to maintain them etc so it's not the same as cheating when it comes to Ark.

Thank you for the response. It seems like the operating system may be acting up when running Ark. Please give the following steps a try if you have not done them yet:

While the Xbox is on, go ahead and do a hard
reset and power cycle to the console. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds or until it shuts down. Once the Xbox is off, remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and
wait 60 seconds before turning on the Xbox. Holding down the power button on the console to force a hard reset and then removing the power cable are both important steps.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a soft
factory reset.

Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the guide.
Scroll to the right and select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your Wi-Fi password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the accounts that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the
reset.

If the issue persists, then I would recommend contacting the developers to report this bug with their private servers.

Are you playing on Xbox One or Windows 10? If on Windows 10, did you download the game from the Microsoft Store?

Can you give us a list of troubleshooting that you already tried?

Do you get any specific error messages?

Ark was having connection issues two days ago but I'm not sure if this issue is related.
