Ark on game pass pc crash at launch

Hello FlorianD, this only happens to Ark or happens with some other game, does the system show some error message when the game does not work?

Also have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11.

Updates often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

Hello again, this updates to the new version for those who haven't yet become optional, but after they are installed they start to appear when you click the button to search for available Updates.

And by definition Microsoft updates are released on Tuesday, but not all go at the same time not to overload the servers.

Hello, and thanks for the help i make an update on my windows because i was at the version 21H1 and not 21H2, for securise i decided to uninstall the game and retry to download it. So when i finish the download i will make an update on my situation. Oh and its the first game who make this on my pc its because i didnt understand what happen and sorry for my english, its a few bad because im french. Did you now why my windows update research didnt work before i come to your link internet for update for windows 10 ?

If i buy xbox pass and download ark for free, will i able to join steam ARK servers or EPIC ark servers, plz let me know so that i can buy it.

The Xbox Game Pass will only allow you to play with the Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox versions.

Hi Kimmy, I'm having the same problem as Jonah. Ark on steam is working fine, but on xbox game pass, it crashes when trying to join a server. Other games are working fine on xbox pc. I tried your troubleshooting above, updating and also using the Windows Terminal Admin method. Thanks!
