Ark not updating on PC so can not run a dedicated server.

I updated Ark 2 days ago on my xbox console, then checked PC and app store for an update, there wasn't one. I tried to host a dedicated server, but when players joined the server the Host BuildID did not match. I have checked the store several times, with
no luck on updates. I am running the patch number (I believe) 793.1 on xBox console, but the PC number is 792.3. Clearly despite the many inquiries I have found with similar issues like this in the past, that state otherwise, Microsoft does NOT automatically
update on PC when you update on xBox. How do I maintain a steady unison of updates, when the store doesn't seem to be updating regularly. Also as an added bit of information, I have checked my downloads for the app and launch and share are my only options.

Current Ark Xbox patch levels:

V793.3 Current Xbox Server Network Server Version

Current Ark Official Client version v793.1

v793.3 - 12/5/2019 Network fix for joining servers and structures loading improperly

v793.2 - 12/4/2019 Potential Network fix for joining servers and structures loading improperly

v793.1 - 12/4/19 fixed multiple crashes, fixed an issue preventing people from connecting

v792.62 - 12/3/19 fixed a server crash.

You may want to check to see if there are any other updates you need. They seem to patch this product an awful lot.

Hi

Ark is working fine for me on Xbox, but hangs and crashes frequently on PC. I use it on PC to run a dedicated local server for myself and my daughter to play on. It can take up to 10 attempts to get running sometimes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling
but still the same. Hopefully another update will fix this. Or break it more

Hi there. Tell me the only way to host an ark server is with another XB1. You can't host a server from a pc?

I'm hosting a dedicated server on my own PC though, so it still goes through Ark's servers you mean? Even though I am hosting it on my own local PC?

I'm running a non dedicated server from my computer and it's not ARK that's giving me the issue it's the app. I can connect to other games that are hosted from on dedicated servers but am unable to connect to instances created by friends and vice versa
