Ark Extinction Add-on downloaded then saying its not installed

Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps, the next step will be uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game including the DLCs.

In reinstalling the game make sure to choose "Install All".

Do you have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate?

Also, do you purchase the add-on individually?

I am currently doing that, but now i cannot even redownload the add on. it was showing this before i deleted Ark itself.

first it shows the bottom pic

after i click on choose edition, it shows the top pic

then i click the first extinction, it shows the bottom picture again. you have never had to buy the game itself to get the add-on, it comes with game pass. thats how my boyfriend and his friend are currently playing it as i am sending this reply. i am so confused as to why this is happening

To add another update, I deleted the installed add on and redownloaded and it is STILL saying I haven’t installed it. This is beyond frustrating to me. I have never had this issue before.

Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
Survival Evolved.
