Ark Doesn't let my xbox friend join my pc server.

my nat type shows moderate in the companion app.

I have added ports 3074, 88, 53, 80, 500, 3544, 4500, and 60209. I made 60209 the teredo port. yet he cannot join and it still shows moderate for the network. any suggestions?

It appears that the issue is in your friend's side because your friend cannot join your server. Let us see and check on what we can do to help address your concern.

You can advised your friend to check NAT type and online safety and privacy settings if the profile is allowed to join multiplayer games. If your friend's account is managed by parent or organizer of Xbox Family settings group, only parent or organizer can change the settings. Provide the article below that outline how to manage online safety and privacy settings and how to check Network Translation Address type (NAT) type to be able to play multiplayer games.

So my friend, who is on Xbox, checked his nat at the time when we were having problems. his NAT shows open and he can join random servers online. I can join random servers online. I can join a game when he hosts. But he is unable to join me when I host.

Ark Survival Evolved does allow Cross-play with PC and Xbox consoles. I used my PC to host a dedicated server for about 2 months for me and a bunch of friends to play together on our own server. We all connected to the server from our Xbox consoles. Do you
have the Xbox Console Companion on your PC?

I ran Ark through this program and was able to invite my Xbox friends to it much easier. It also allowed my friends to add the server as a friend and jump in whenever they wanted. If you do not Plan on using the Xbox companion app
on your PC, you can always host your server and give your Xbox friend the server name and password that you create and they can go in to "Join an Ark" then filter the servers shown to quickly find yours and join it.

If i buy xbox pass and download ark for free, will i able to join steam ARK servers or EPIC ark servers, plz let me know so that i can buy it.

The Xbox Game Pass will only allow you to play with the Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox versions.
