Ark Dedicated PC Server

Hello, I have a Ark Survival Ascended dedicated server that I am currently running but cannot get public access to the PC. I have followed numerous guides on opening up ports, utilizing a VPN as well as other methods of running the server(IE Windows GSM, Steam Dedicated Server etc etc.

My problem is this, the PC I am utilizing is connected to my router, I also have 1 gaming console connected to that same router. My other gaming console however is directly connected into my modem. I can connect to the server with my Playstation which tells me local access is allowed, but when I try to enter into the server it will always time out. Meaning that public access is not granted.

I have done the following,

Enabled Port Forwarding to all ports listed directly for ASA, as well as those specified to the XBOX IE Port:88, 3074, etc)

Enabled a static IP for public access

Created Inbound Rules to allow Port Forwarding to all the ports needed to go directly to the PC

Enabled a Virtual Private Network(VPN)

None of these work as they have all been recommended. Is there any other option available so that I do not have to continue paying for a nitrado server

Hi there. Tell me the only way to host an ark server is with another XB1. You can't host a server from a pc?

Are all the dedicated ark servers XB1's

I'm hosting a dedicated server on my own PC though, so it still goes through Ark's servers you mean? Even though I am hosting it on my own local PC?

1. Make sure that your firewall and antivirus software are not blocking the connection to your server. You may need to add an exception for Ark Survival Ascended in your firewall and antivirus settings.

2. Check if your router has a feature called UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) and enable it if possible. This feature allows devices on your network to communicate with each other without manual configuration.

3. Try to connect both of your gaming consoles to the same router as your PC or use a switch or hub to connect them all to the same network. This may help to avoid any conflicts or interference between your devices.
