Ark dedi server "Join Failed"

That's a really odd situation, as you're able to join server's in the list I think is more an issue with the dedicated server from your friend.

But we can try isolating the issue from your side

First, what's saying next/under NAT type?
Go to Settings > General > Network config

If your NAT type says open, may I know if you tried power cycling the console?

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

If you already tried that, what about using a different DNS address?

go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.

(If that doesn't work use 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary)

Are you able to test with a different wifi network to see how it goes?
For example sharing mobile data via wifi hotspot and connect your console in that way
May I know if you tried reinstalling the game?

And, in order to isolate a bit more the issue, can you try joining to a different server?

I'm had a nice day since the weather was nice and cool

I only have one WiFi network so I can't try to connect to another one
I don't know how hotspots work and I have no phone lol
I can join server's on the listing and I don't know about other dedicated server's
I don't think reinstalling the game will help since my brother plays on another xbox and can't get on either

I don't really know why it's being weird but I guess that's the charm of Ark

In Ark i can see the server list, but when i try to log in a error message appears: Failed To Join: Unknow Error

Keep in mind that for your PC to be reached from the Internet, it must be in the DMZ of your router, the router has its own firewall to prevent network intrusion, bypassing this firewall by putting your PC in the DMZ could put your device at risk, keep that in mind.

It is curious that the game support does not offer help on a game issue, if they themselves told you that they cannot help you, you could post your problem in the game forums and check if any player of their community can help you.
