Are you worried or excited about the Xbox PC eco system?

i do not care about Xbox exclusives going to PC. i just can't believe more people didn't see this coming, they're trying to build the Xbox brand, not just the hardware. the kid that cancelled his pre-order of QB because it was going to PC is a complete chump
that claims to not be a fanboy, but is actually one of the worst kinds of fanboy, not playing what could be an amazing game just because isn't not platform exclusive? pathetic.

and the 30 days before any other platform is a waste of money.

 

I hope they work a lot on making Xbox a console/PC brand. I would love to buy games and get it for Xbox and have that mean the console and PC version together.

The xbox console can be a device for the huge number of people who want an easy to use platform that consoles generally are. No fooling around with any specs or hardware configurations and such. PC gaming can be just as easy but it has things that happen
that do not happen on the console. Plus, the console is straight forward. So there is a huge space for consoles and that would continue to be supported.

By putting the Xbox brand on PC it benefits people like me. Especially if they allow xbox communication between console players and pc players as well as gaming. I could use my PC while my wife is one of the consoles. Hope they work with 3rd parties on
this.

 

I think its M$ way of appealing to developers to bring their games to Xbox/win. The competition has a clear lead and maybe this will help them even the score. I'm not a pc gamer, just don't like playing on it, but maybe pulling win-gaming together with X
will entice enough third party developers to go non-exclusive and bring more game options my way. I'm down.

 

One thing that I found interesting, is effectively a cross platform licences for QB is no extra cost to an xbox gamer, although that is a downer for a PC gamer I suppose.

I also wonder if MS start to change their stance and set MS exclusives and not necessarily xbox exclusives.

What I would like to see, is PC gamers pushing the boundary's of gaming, with the intention of bringing it to console on the next gen, I think gamers just aren't moving forward.

 

Worried: Even though such things can often be benifitial to gamers for the short term, having two seperate corporate inities co-op together over the long haul can spell the end of compitition, and usher in a monopoly.

Which is what every big bussiness wants to happen.

The only thing that comes to mind with the idea of Xbox console gamers playing with PC / Laptop gamers is whether or not Microsoft is going to be able to implement some sort of safe guard that PC / Laptop gamers won't be using mods / cheats to help them
win.

Bear in mind that I'm not computer savvy, but based on what I've heard MODS are a big thing for PC / Laptop gamers.

Have little interest playing on the P.C., and zero interest playing anything competitive against someone on a P.C.. Whether a game comes to P.C. first or Console means nothing to me. Take Fallout 4...I would have still enjoyed the game on X Box/PS4 even
if it hit P.C. months before the console. Also, much as I was looking forward to Fallout 4; if it was a P.C. exclusive, I never would have played it. Some would say, "It's your loss! You'd be tortured for eternity not playing such a great game.". Meh, I have
lots of other obligations and hobbies that fill my time. Lol.

I see Microsoft taking a Steam Machine approach with their next "system", in which case the brand dies for me, and Sony/Nintendo offerings would be the only choice (Unless another company got into the mix.). If nobody has a toy that intrigues me...just time
to find something else/new to play with. ;-)

And two more exclusives coming to PC : Forza and Gears of war ultimate edition (i guess Gears 4 will be on PC,too).

Funny,because Phil Spencer was saying (in an article) that BC on Xbox is a long term vision ,i guess this is the future of Xbox.A BC platform with some Windowns 10 games.
