    In regarding your issue try clearing or deleting your cache or the other option is uninstalling and reinstalling the app again and you should be able to connect your account.

    If I may ask, are you getting this error message when trying to sign in to Minecraft for Android? If yes, try to uninstall/ reinstall it.

    In addition to uninstall/reinstall I also tried

    Going into my phone settings and deleting the apps cache

    Logged out and back into my MS and XBox accounts
