Hi everyone,

It's very apparent that recently, over the last 2-3 months, numerous issues have cropped up in terms of connecting to Xbox Live on Virgin Media's service.

Generally, the issues entail you being disconnected from multiplayer every so often as well as packet loss.

You're not alone. Xbox Support, Microsoft and Virgin Media are aware of the issue - except, Virgin Media are refusing to continue to investigate the issue, in fact, they no longer reply to customers reporting the issue.

Xbox Support recommend I post on the forums here, as well as on Virgin Media's and social channels, to make ourselves, the customers, heard.

now 3-4 people in my street are unable to connect to xbox live

Well I know Virgin cable and Virgin national have been having routing issues lately which has been affecting many sites including Microsoft. I'm on BT and I've had no issues with signing in or staying signed in, weird.

Hey there Queen! The original post here sounds like he is having long load times and disc read issues, while you are saying you are having issues connecting and staying connected to Halo matchmaking. For this, I would suggest checking out Forum 02 for LIVE

The issue has been escalated to Technical Resources who are investigating connectivity issues in the IPv4 Protocols of the Xbox One between Virgin Media' Superhub 2 and Xbox One.

 

Just heard back from the manager dealing with this case at Xbox - they're continuing to investigate the issue and will get back to me with more information soon.
