Are you having issues with Your NAT on xbox one? Here are some tips

Quick methods may not work

• Go to settings>network> test mutiplayer connection. You'll see press "A" to continue but don't press "A" press all of the triggers and bumpers at the same time. It's going to test your connection but this screen allows you to see what type of NAT you have.
  Full cone NAT means open NAT.

Note: This method is sometimes temporary, you may have to do it after every hard reset.

• Turning off instant-on may open your NAT. Downside to this: "xbox on" command will not work. Automatic download/updates, Boot directly to TV, Quick Resume games won't work.
  
• Turn on UPNP on your router/modem settings. And/or turn off NAT acceleration.(not every modem or router supports this)
  

Methods that are most likely to work:

• Port forward, this is a guide to help you: Open Port
  

• If you own multiple xbox consoles or wired in to your router/modem you should Port trigger.
  

• If you own a modem that is a hybrid router and modem and also a separate Router then you may be causing Double NAT, Which may give you an strict or causing you problems from opening your NAT.
  

To fix this issue bridge your modem. (Bridging a modem turns off all wireless,NAT, DHCP firewall functions.Now the modem is strictly a modem. This lets your router do all of the work) If you connect your xbox one to your modem with an Ethernet cable
you're most defiantly going to have an open NAT, But the downside to this Smartglass may not work because for smartglass to work you have to be on the same network as your xbox.

You can connect your xbox to your router and see if you have an open NAT.

I use your 1st method and it works, but sometimes I have to do it a few times though to get it open. I usually have to do it once every week or two.

 

Overall my NAT has not been a problem on XB1.

Having said that, I'm with BT Infinity here in the UK and since switching/upgrading to the Home Hub 5 I have noticed that every 2-3 weeks when testing the connection from the XB1 console my NAT does say Moderate but a reset on the Hub itself sorts it out
and goes back to normal.

I have heard friends and family say ( as posted in first post ) that by doing a MP test and then pressing all of the triggers also works for them.

Also heard others say that my clearing Mac Address works also.
