Are you finding it hard not buying COD AW?

Hello everyone

I am amazed by the longevity of this franchise and the only Call Of Duty games that I've played are the World War 2 ones (COD 2 and COD 3).

I stopped playing both games after completing the " Basic Training " and they just weren't my cup of tea.

With that being said, I have never picked-up any other COD games; but I must admit that the trailer is absolutely amazing

Although this is an easy " Skip " for me, it is worth noting that this game has peaked my interest slightly LOL

Can't play Halo 2 on my Xbox 360

As long as it's an official MS hard drive it should work. However, buying online you run into the issues of finding a lot of fake hard drives, which may be the case with the hard drive you have now. The drive may look like an official hard drive and play
fine with everything else, but may not work with original games because of the emulation software.

What killed you lol? Not finding it that hard myself.

 

Waiting till half price now. Server situation hasn't been clarified by anyone selling the game. I don't like that.

 

I thought dedicated servers had been confirmed, but they said that with ghost and thats not my idea of dedicated servers.

Although from the streams I have been watching it suffers from pretty much the same issues the other games have.

 

Grabbing it for the campaign myself.

Can't stand the online Call of Duty community.

 

I haven't had a problem not buying since the game starting going downhill with BO....

TBH its not COD, is an online issue, plenty of plonkers in destiny as well, just a little different, and you can't hear them as much.

 

I'm finding it hard not to leave work and go play.

 

Personally, I made this choice with Ghosts, and probably will never buy another COD game. It's just too much of the same over and over again.

If prices get low enough, I may buy just to run through the single player campaign, but I can't justify full price when I'm not interested in MP anymore.

To the OP, you seem to be a COD nut based on your last played games on your gamertag, I have a feeling you will have a hard time staying away.

 

The last played games are 360, as I said before it used to be my main game, but ghost was rubbish (extinction gave me something to play though) and although I never said I wouldn't buy one, until i am convinced it will delivery I am determined to not buy
it, hopefully it will get easier over time lol.

 

I'm lucky that I will borrow the wifes copy and play the campaign and try out the co-op but I've not been interested in MP COD since the days of 2 and 4.

From talking to a few friends today who were playing it on XB1, they said they were enjoying it but it wasn't any major leap from past games ( to be honest I was expecting it to be ) and the maps are quite small which makes the gameplay even faster than
past titles which puts me off even more, at my age I prefer something a little more slow and tactical, not run and gun lol

 

I was seriously considering picking it up after work today, but now I've found out that they are holding zombies to the season pass then it put me off. They really need to just release a zombies game in it own right, I find coop type games far more enjoyable
than PvP nowadays.

I much prefer a good old co-op game these days. To me PvP just seems the same every time and usually it isn't about teamwork, it's about people running off to get the most kills.
