Discus and support are xbox partys going back to p2p servers? in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; people are saying that Microsoft are changing the xbox party servers back to p2p servers which means people can pull ips in partys again is this true?...     I'm a little confused with online multiplayer!!

    NO dedicated servers....p2p.....Join xbox live party 1st then start lobby.

    it almost seems like p2p servers, when kaos servers went down they switched to p2p, idk for sure but i think they nver put the dedis back up

    ...ea would never do anything like that, especially not behind our backs

    P2p definitely. I got a different FPS that uses p2p on release day and have not had problems. BF3, the dedicated servers go down like every week, the servers don't pair you up with people from your city, you can't join a game and be on the same team as
    your friends, dedicated servers lag like crazy and you still get shot around corners all the time. I'm going with p2p.

    good think that go to PS4 and play P2P and enjoy getting lag killed.

    None of you PS fanboys can change teh fact that in a month your gonna be on P2P and i'm gonna be on dedicated servers ;)

    We need a PS Plus type program

    Sorry if i wasn't being clear, but i was talking exclusive-wise between the servers. Majority,if not all 360 exclusives are run by p2p while the majority of exclusives on ps3 are hosted by dedicated servers or Regional Servers, online multiplats play exactly
    the same.

    Party chat will probably not be implemented within the ps3 for the moment because of the current structure of the network, but there are rumors going out now that Sony is going to redesign the Xmb and store to make it more flashy. The ps vita will include
    party chat, so it wont be long until the ps3 gets it.
