    Are Xbox ones getting phased out?


    I have been having so many issues with my xbox lately. It randomly decides to jump off the internet (while my internet is still very much up and running) while im in game, sometimes I am able to get it up and running again but lately once it jumps off the internet its done. Is the Xbox ones getting phased out? I know the answer is probably "dump your xbox and get a new one" but that just not an option for me right now, at least not in this economy. Help.

    I think the Xbox One S will be the entry level console. But they eventually get phased out if the demand is also lower than previous years

    HI,

    They've just released a new generation, why would they phase it out?

    Microsoft have ended production of Xbox One S, One S digital and One X. These machines have been phased out. Pointless to keep making them as the new machines play all Xbox One games.

    The pandemic along with a global chip shortage is why purchasing one is difficult at the moment.

    My question to you is, are the Xbox One and the Xbox One series X different consoles but are both under the the family tree "Xbox"? I think he is confused with the terminology because he thinks even the new console falls under that statement you replied with. I simply told him Xbox gaming consoles will not be phased out and he said 85 million articles says Xbox is being phased out

    I think that there will be a transition period before full Xbox Series X exclusives are the norm. Like the Xbox 360 the Xbox One will eventually be phased out.
