    Are Xbox One Game Discs region locked?


    Hello, I ordered a game from an e-shop retail store and when it came it's wrapped in plastic and on the cover it's written in Polish, and on a little green label it says "Polish version only - Subtitles" Exactly like that. What is that supposed to
    mean. And If my Xbox is set to US/English then the game will play and write in english?

    The game is Forza Horizon 3. I am asking because if I unwrap it I won't be able to return it. Thank you very much!

    Xbox One from the US (Region free? Advantages? Disadvantages?)

    The Xbox one is region free for games.

    But for DVD's and Blu-rays, it is region locked. So your Xbox from the states would only be able to play region 1 discs

    Game discs for the Xbox One console are
    not region locked. Each Xbox One console is manufactured for a specific region, following international standards, so the Xbox One console can only play
    Blu-ray discs and DVDs that are sold in the same region as the console unless they Blu-ray/DVD is not region coded.

    Hi, Xbox One game disks are region free, and from the sound of it, that Polish version is Polish Subtitles. The game will still be in English. You should be able to turn off the subtitles if you wish.

    Compatibility of french games with Xbox one bought in USA

    Digital games are region locked to the country that it was bought in/the currency it was bought in but disc games on Xbox one are not region locked and all Xbox one disc games will work in any Xbox one.

    For example, if you're in the USA and you buy a French code for a game it will not let you redeem it and vice-versa.

    If it's a disc version then yes.The xbox one is region free when it comes to games on disc.

    Blu-rays are region locked.

    The only country with region locking is China but I doubt you'll be making a quick trip there while in Florida.

    Xbox Ones are region free when it comes to disc versions of games.

    It's only Blu-Ray film discs that are region locked as well as some digital content.
