Are xbox one & 360 affected by ransomware?

Does anyone know if the Xbox One or 360 consoles are affected by these ransomware virus programs that can lock up your PC?

recently my house was hit by lightning and it ruined a lot of electronics in my house. So my Xbox seems to work fine except for the hdmi. When I plug my Xbox into the wall, I’m able to press the power button and the Xbox actually comes on. The white light
glows and the Xbox sounds like it’s running. But my tv the im testing it on says no signal. So I’m thinking the hdmi port is blown. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. The TV my Xbox was connected during the storm was completely fired and is dead btw.
I tested my Xbox on a diff, untouched tv.

 

Not that I've heard. Also never seen it mentioned until now so I'd doubt it.

 

Viruses on Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 genuine consoles is unheard of. PC's are more prone to viruses. Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 consoles have strong a operating system called Dashboard and are the official internet/online service it connects to is Xbox Live.

 

Cool and Thanks a lot! It's much easier to surf on the xbox 1 than the 360. But, I've heard of these types of viruses causing problems with Windows phones. Just wondering how similar the operating systems were. Thanks Again.

 

my friend actually has a ransom virus on his xbox one as we speak but its only affecting his gamer tag it has locked him out of internet explorer unless he pays $400
