So GG if you invite me and i don't join yet i am in a party then you will join my party? thing is you see is if i don't join you and i am in a party and i don't invite you then its mainly because the person i am in a party with wants it to stay as it is,
it is nothing personal my friend but i have a friend who likes to game just me and him.

 

I only have best friends and family as favs lucky at night my mobile and ipad are off so i wont get woken up

I actually sat down with my wife and oldest son and we watched that "look up" video ..

Even though my household isn't on FB,twitter and the like we sure know those people who are !!

We will have them stop by for a visit or say hey and the whole time they are barley making eye contact with us and just sorta nodding as we attempt to carry a conversation .

 

N7, I join someone's party chiefly for 2 reasons: 1) to find out what's going on and 2) to see if I can play a game with them. If you don't want me in your party for whatever reason, that's fine - you can tell me such. However, now that I know about you
solitary time with your friend, I would recommend making your party at that time invite only, which would make it easier on both of us.

I've mentioned this before, but I feel it's worth mentioning again: Just because you're playing with someone else doesn't mean that a 3rd person can't join in or that the 2 of you can't join the 3rd person. Now, in your case N7, you're respecting the choice
of your friend (in that he just wants to have a duo) and that is perfectly fine. I accept that. Generally though, I believe in the more the merrier. I find I personally am happiest with larger groups (although not too large).

In addition to my methods mentioned in my earlier post, another thing I often like to do is to try to get all of my friends who are playing the same game that I want to play into the same lobby/match. So, if I want to play BF4, and I see 4 other friends
also playing BF4, I try to get them all to join me so we can have a full squad and increase our chances of success and therefore fun. Unfortunately, this seldom works out for the very reason N7 stated above - they're too busy playing with other friends.

Again, playing with other friends over me is fine. I have no right to tell anyone who they should play with after all. I just want to make sure that you all realize that just because you're playing with one specific person does not preclude you from playing
with someone else as well. If you want to keep it to just yourself and 1 other friend, then there are tools to ensure that it stays that way (as mentioned above).

For me though, the opposite of what I said is also true - the fewer friends I play with, the less fun and success I have. I can do just fine with 1 other person in most cases (just the other day I had a 2-man squad with myself and my friend Steel City Shadow
and we kicked butt on the new DT DLC for BF4), however, if it's just me I will almost certainly have a bad or boring experience (although in some rare cases I can enlist randoms and make new friends via strategic communication and praise if they're listening).

I would actually have to agree with smileskybird - I probably am too connected. Whether that's a bad thing or not, I don't know. However, the fact that I care too much about this community and largely what others think of me probably is... :|

And finally, to Wilko, I have received your PM and will ruminate on it for a while before making a decision on the matter.

 

Having an LFG tag (Looking For Group) would be a great way to narrow down who to send gaming invites to.

 

GG best way to remember is friday and sunday night i game with my best mate iv knowen him since we was 2 reason we like just us in the party is because sometimes we talk about stuff that we wouldnt talk about round other people over xbl. we don invite people
sometimes though. we both have bf4 so maybe you can join us sometime we also have TF. satursday is normally a blu ray night with the other half thursday i try to get on for the forza meet

 

Again though GG i dont mind getting invites and messages from you but keep this in mind. if i dont join after the fist then i prob wont join ok
